I’m Sigurður Pétur, a filmmaker and creative director from Iceland. I bring years of experience creating content for some of the country’s leading brands and artists, with a perspective shaped by music, culture, and fast-moving visual storytelling.

I grew up on a remote farm in the Icelandic countryside, surrounded by mountains, glaciers, and vast black sands, an environment that continues to influence how I see and approach visual storytelling today.

I taught myself video production and editing through YouTube while in high school, before going on to study film to refine my craft. After a year and a half at an ad agency, I started my own company and went freelance full-time.

What began as a personal obsession has evolved into a career working with some of Iceland’s biggest names, including Icelandair, 66°North, and Inspired by Iceland, as well as artists such as Laufey, Herra Hnetusmjör, Bríet, Aron Can, and Rúrik.

I specialise in sound- and rhythm-driven storytelling that grabs attention. My workflows are built to move fast, delivering work that feels intentional, not rushed, because premium content can have a real impact, and I treat every project accordingly.
