Icelandic national football team

After working with Icelandair for the first time I approached them and asked if they needed any videowork done. They asked me if I could film the Icelandic women’s national football team both in an open practise in Reykjavík and as they moved through the Icelandic airport to fly out to Euro 2022.

Both of those shoots ended up being quite challenging and fun. I had never shot a football practise before this and had to figure it on the go, soon I found myself running up the wing with my gimbal trying to get a steady shot as the offence pushed the ball up the pitch. At the airport the challenge was to expose the shots on the go as the team was moving so fast through different parts of the airport.

Seeing the end result is just so much more satisfying when you really worked for it.
