World Mountain and Trail Running Championship

What a privilege to be able to follow Iceland’s best trail runners to WMTRC in Austria 2023. The biggest reason I got into this project was that my older brother Þorsteinn Roy was competing in the Short Trail (45KM) run so getting to watch him compete was a big plus for me.

I was delivering daily videos in this trip so I was not only documenting the runs but also the preparation and aftermath. Like most of the projects I put on my website this was a really fun trip even though this was probably one of the most challenging shoots I’ve ever been on.
